Summer
I always know when the summer fruit comes in season because my farmers market gets crowded with people clamoring for peaches and plums. Other favorites include tomatoes, basil, cucumber, and corn. It's the time of year to keep the heat out of the kitchen and enjoy salads, picnics, and barbecues.
