Snacks
Afternoon snacks are my kids' favorite meal of the day. If I put out something tasty and healthy on the table, they enjoy it and don't feel the need to look for other options. Colorful fruits and vegetables look inviting. I also serve sweet treats sometimes. And a snack with protein is a good choice when you're more hungry. Favorites include homemade granola bars, lavash flatbread pizza, and any dip with veggie dippers.
